Homegrown topper presents a brand new album
A good bottle of wine, good food, among friends, some candlelight… basically, enjoyment and everything that makes life worthwhile. THAT is 'That old feeling', the new album Jef Neve and his band present to you. Well- and lesser known songs pass in review on 'That Old Feeling', aside their own work of course. From Damien Rice to Marvin Gaye and Paul Simon, sung on the album by a host of incredibly strong singers (including the likes of Madeleine Peyroux, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Johnny Manuel, …).
This is performed in a fantastic manner live, with the incomparable 'Mo' (Monique Harcum, US/BE) and her colleague with the warmest voice you’ve heard in ages, Sam Merrick (UK), on vocals. Top that off with a solid rhythm section (Nathan Wouters on bass, Jens Bouttery on drums) and Jef's musical brother Teus Nobel on trumpet, then let that gang be led by the man whose fire and passion pours from the piano, and you will soon understand what is meant by "That Old Feeling.
Line-up:
Jef Neve: piano
Monique Harcum: vocals
Sam Merrick: vocals
Nathan Wouters: bass
Jens Bouttery: drums
