The quintet announces their return with 'State of the Slow Decay', a powerful new single, a fourteenth album due this year and new concert dates. In Flames have gradually evolved from the melodic death metal of their early days to a totally personal style, as evidenced by their 13 million-selling albums. In 2019, their latest release, 'I, The Mask', recorded in Los Angeles with multi-Grammy Award-winning producer Howard Benson, topped the charts in Sweden as well as Austria, Germany and the US. Considered by In Flames as a note of intent for their future album, 'State of the Slow Decay' recalls the band's early productions with its frantic pace. In Flames tours the world with bands such as Judas Priest, Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed while inspiring many of today's most popular rock and metal artists.
