The Championship of Brussels, that biennial competition for young musical talent from Brussels, celebrates its sixth edition. The Championship of Brussels provides promising young artists with the opportunity to present themselves to a large audience. It doesn't matter which music genre flows through their veins or if they mount the stage with or without a band.
Irrepressible enthusiasm, exceptional talent and a passionate love of music form the theme of the competition. No wonder Black Box Revelation and Puggy grabbed the attention when they took part.
A well-qualified jury will make a selection of bands to compete during 5 qualifying rounds. The finalists then battle for first place on the stage of the AB Box. The winner will go home with 1000 euro and 6 recording days in the professional studio of De Rockfabriek.
The competition is organised by JES and De Rockfabriek and forms a part of Poppunt's ‘100% Puur’ concept.
