Noah's Ark-veteran Hef instantly became the face of the Rotterdam rap scene in 2008 with his music video Puur. His unique, laid-back style and raw presence grabbed the attention of the street and respected critics. Together with his brothers Crooks and Ado’nis, plus after various video clips and now legendary 101Barz sessions, he presented the mixtape Boyz In De Hood vol. 1.
 
Since then, Hef has been unstoppable. From Hefvermogen to Kutleven, 13 and Koud – the rapper has been an established name on the scene for years, known as an artist who constantly reinvents himself. He released a book, appeared in films, won several awards and is the host of his popular podcast Rookworst. Luckily, he also continued to make music... dropping his tenth(!) studio album Bloed Is Dikker Dan Water in 2023.
 
Countless tours and performances in The Netherlands and Belgium made Hef one of the most consistent and strong live rap acts in The Netherlands, which in turn led to shows at big festivals like Lowlands and WOO HAH!. Now he comes to AB for the first time. Expect pure, unadulterated hip-hop with a rrrrrauw edge.
