Turkish-German Pianist Erol Sarp and Swiss tech-nut / synth-builder Lukas Vogel form the fascinating duo Grandbrothers, in which they play one and the same grand piano together. Sarp from his stool at the keyboard, Vogel from a laptop that builds new sounds and beats via an impressive self-made system of hammers and microphones, thus modulating the notes of the piano live.

Their 3rd album 'All the Unknown' was released via the City Slang label (Arcade Fire, Caribou, The Notwist …) in early 2021, but even more than enjoying this album from home, you really should see and hear this duo tinker live on their fantastic electronic classical music.
