Golden Earring celebrates 50-year On The Record anniversary in the AB in Brussels!
Legendary Dutch rock band Golden Earring celebrates its 50th anniversary on 3 December in Brussels' Ancienne Belgique. During their ‘Five Zero’ show, fifty years of unforgettable rock & roll will pass in revue – with worldwide hits like ‘Radar Love’, ‘Twilight Zone’ and ‘When The Lady Smiles’.
Golden Earring was established in the early sixties by neighbours from The Hague, Rinus Gerritsen (bass/keys) and George Kooymans (guitar/vocals). When Barry Hay (vocals/guitar) and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums) join them in the late sixties, the classic band line-up was complete. Golden Earring soon caused international furore. The band broke through worldwide with ‘Radar Love’ and ‘Twilight Zone’.
