'Everything Is Going To Be OK' Tour
GoGo Penguin is back with 'Everything is Going to Be OK'. With this luminous album, the trio starts a new musical journey, marked by their ingeniously renewed sound and the arrival of a new drummer. With this new momentum, the band will tour next autumn and meet their Belgian fans.
Founded in 2012 in Manchester, GoGo Penguin, like few other instrumental bands, have enjoyed such great success with their albums and on stage. Their music is described as acoustic electronica in which they skillfully and accurately combine rock, jazz, minimalist, experimental electro sounds to create their own inimitable style that they continue to evolve. Their second album, 'v2.0', was nominated for a prestigious Mercury Prize in 2014 and its follow-up 'Man Made Object' was released on renowned jazz label Blue Note. In 2021, GoGo Penguin strengthened their ties with the world of electronic music with the release of the remix album 'GGP/RMX', which featured the likes of Squarepusher, Machinedrum and Rone. Their new album 'Everything Is Going to Be OK' stems from a period of turmoil and loss. During this turbulent period, the studio offered the band a refuge from real life. The resulting project draws its strength from a shared understanding and empathy where the optimism of a new beginning is palpable. Don't miss their return to AB and discover songs from their new album as well as classics from their filled repertoire.
