Fledgling AB-Artist in Residence presents brand new EP

AB proudly presents its brand new AIR for the 2016-2017 season: Glints, from Antwerp. Glints is the alter-ego of Jan Lemmens – a young man from Antwerp with a British background – and guitarist /co-writer Mathias Bervoets. Together they make – according to Noisy – ‘nieuwe frisse shit die het midden houdt tussen hiphop, elektronica en pop.’
Their talent was noticed right away by Jergan Callebaut (Vuurwerk) who released Glints’ debut EP (with those excellent tracks ‘Dread’ and ‘Sirens’) on his Run Tell Secrecy label. Studio Brussel, 3FM and 22 Tracks were on the ball too.
AB saw them at work during their first show ever (Bonnefooi, Brussels) and was instantly impressed. The result: a series of support-acts in AB for the likes of Bazart, Warhola and Vuurwerk (as aftershow to Jamie xx) and an actual Artist In Residence-ship.
Glints already has a find future awaiting them – with shows planned in Germany, The Netherlands and France – but the one and only kick-off will take place late this year in the AB Club.
