Alternatives from London who wallow in ethereal indie-rock/psych-pop and clearly like to go hunt Pokémons (their band name refers to Gengar, one of the original Pokémons). Their debut ‘A Dream Outside’ (06/15, Transgressive Records – The Antlers, Foals, Flume, At The Drive In) took home a good report from pretty much all the criticasters in the world. The latest issue is planned for (03/18) with superb single ‘Mallory’ as forerunner, and was recorded with the skilled assistance of Neil Comber (M.I.A., Glass Animals).
