Berlin producer blends soul & dance on ‘Grand Départ’
According to the Kalkbrenner legend, both brothers were conceived on the dancefloor. That’s impossible to confirm, but to say that they have pumping beats in their genes would be an understatement! Since that Paul scored a worldwide hit with ‘Sky And Sand’ (2009), younger brother Fritz Kalkbrenner has been fully engaged in taking that throne in the Berlin dance scene under fire!
On his new album ‘Grand Départ’ (from 14 Oct ‘16), Fritz moves his characteristic deep house more to the background and fills that gap with soulful tracks and a more prominent role for his very own vocals.
