Freddie Konings, known for his deep voice and compelling beats, is a name to keep an eye on. Konings entered into the spotlights by way of the track 32 Barz, in which he gave his best aside Zwangere Guy, and has continued relentlessly on from there. With releases like Chosselonië 1 & 2 and a 101Barz session with Rotjoch, Freddie made an even bigger mark on the hip-hop map and bagged a record deal at Top Notch.
He wasn’t really a man of emotions in the past, but quite a bit has changed along the way. On his latest album Respect the Pain, he lets you see into his head and soul. Despite all the difficulties he has faced, he battled on. As befits a true King!
The concert is part of the "HIP-HOP 50" series where AB celebrates the 50th anniversary of one of the most fascinating cultures in recent music history.
