Enter Shikari

“Enter Shikari, exit goed gedrag en zeden” was what we wrote to announce the ‘The Mindsweep’ release concert in AB (Jan ’15) and that was no lie. Our favourite British bouncing balls exploded on stage like a Mentos in a Coca-Cola Light bottle and those present were completely sucked into their typical tornado of hard metal-meets-electronica. A show of power that they also happened to easily repeat on the main stage of Rock Werchter ’15!

Since debut ‘Take To The Skies’ from 2007, the quartet has been welding the euphoria of dubstep to the energy of hardcore and that success formula has held its own, right up to this day. What’s more, their fourth longplayer ‘The Mindsweep’ is by far their best and is praised to high heavens by criticasters like Q Magazine: “A defiant record from a band who've made a career of doing their own thing: Enter Shikari have upped their game again” and Kerrang Magazine:“the most enjoyable album Enter Shikari have ever made.”

FYI: Shikari is the Indian word for hunter. Not to be confused with Shakira!
