In 2011 power-trio Drums Are For Parades will be working with the AB for a while. The gents from Ghent want to have finished an idiosyncratic EP by the end of the year. One on which you will find a number of new songs with surprising guest singers. We can't tell you too much yet about the who, what and how, so we suggest you keep an eye on the websites of the band and the AB. As a warm-up, we've already invited them for a Late Night Show in the ABClub after The Cult and Masters Of Reality concerts on Tuesday 1 February.

Drums Are For Parades' long-awaited debut album (‘Master’) was released in September and certainly made an impression. The album was recorded in the ICP studios with Niek and Reinhard from Das Pop, also mixed by them in the legendary JET studio, and Younes Faltakh (The Hickey Underworld) and Jorgen Munkeby (Shining) contributed to it too.

DAFP ended up at the likes of Dour Festival, Boomtown, Rock Herk and in all the right clubs with their already legendary, sold-out and wonderful 10" vinyl EP release ‘Artificial Sacrificial Darkness In The Temple Of The Damned’. What's more, they also appeared as support-act to Baroness in the AB, Black Cobra and Masters Of Reality. They can count Chris Goss, Goose, The Subs and Soulwax to their fine line of fans. So it's no wonder that the Dewaele brothers recently invited them to their Soulwaxmas in Eindhoven and Hasselt. In the meantime, DAFP have also been invited to the Eurosonic showcase-festival in Groningen and a there has been a vinyl version of their album released.
