Daniel Lanois is finally back again. With Trixie Whitley and Brian Blade! This trio-project bears the name Black Dub. With a new CD out in Autumn and now already that brilliant single from Trixie: I'd Rather Go Blind.
This Canadian star is producer for U2, Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Emmylou Harris, The Neville Brothers (in the days of that impressive Yellow Moon...) Moreover, he always guarantees an appealing, fascinating sound. His own recordings also bathe in that unique sound too, whether it's for a radio hit like Jolie Louise, or rather one of his many more instrumental escapades, apparently like the Omnia trilogy now!? More recent visits to Dranouter and Lokerse Feesten were in any case unbelievable goosebump moments.
