Cris Cab could have been Cuban, grew up in Miami, Florida, and soon came under the watchful eye of Pharrell Williams (see too: Get Lucky and other Happy hits.)

Pharrell, but also the likes of Wyclef Jean, apparently fell for Cab's abilities as singer, guitarist and songwriter (and provider of remarkable mix-tapes).

A first success was Good Girls (Don't Grow On Trees.) He is even more prominent in the charts now, with his immensely fresh Liar Liar (featuring Pharrell, yep, also in the clip that has already been viewed more than 6 million times!)

By the way, Cris Cab was also able to sign with quality label Def Jam for his debut CD and 'Where I Belong' is out here via Universal.

An appealing mix of reggae, pop, hip-hop, soul and acoustic rock... Good-looking guy and gorgeous girls in the clips... Hopefully Cris Cab will create as many more infectious hits as... the likes of the late Robert Palmer?
