Experimental, unique multi-instrumentalist debuts on Transgressive Records
A Liveurope concert:
The first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European music.
Visionary London multi-instrumentalist who, after a number of impressive on the great Transgressive Records (Flume, Foals, Let’s Eat Grandma), now finally releases a debut: ‘The Much Much How How and I’. He was inspired by the music of The Beatles, Moondog, Bobby McFerrin & Stravinsky while also being triggered by ‘nonsense poetry’ (from the likes of Lewis Carroll & Edward Lear) and by his mother, who teaches (which involves polyphonic singing... so with more than two notes at the same time).
You could hardly call all this conventional. Exciting, daring, experimental and unique it is though! And he likes being at AB too, as he was to be found here on 2 November 2017 in an AB Club, in the wake of British folk sensation Johnny Flynn.
Fun fact
Sheldrake drops live videos onto YouTube from the craziest of places. In a pigsty, in a laundrette, in a spa in Budapest, on a fishing boat…There's no place too crazy for Cosmo Sheldrake to have been there and done his thing!
