Last year they provided a first-class concert for Explosions In The Sky, this time to be experienced Late Night in the ABClub following one of the 2 sold-out Bloc Party concerts: Confuse The Cat. This band based upon ex-Reiziger Geert Plessers did a more than decent job with the previous album ‘We Can Do It’; a – to quote the press – wave drenched in fear, lust for life and restlessness that reminds us of early U2 or more recently Editors. So now the new album ‘Kericky’ has arrived, which pays special attention to the bass: Jah Wobble is never far away and most likely we can hear this in the hand of mixer Luuk Cox (Shameboy).
‘For something local, of European standard, we can strongly recommend you 'Kericky'. Not satisfied, not listening properly'. (Humo ***)
‘On this new album, the quartet from Limburg exhibit more grandiose pop-melodies, if you just dive under the noisy post-punk sound’ (Focus Knack ***)
