Le Christophe! The only true French (or intergalactic?) artist, aesthete, dandy (and vampire?) Grew up with rock and blues, yé yé, pop and electro, but meanwhile, nine CDs later, has become a unique phenomenon. Already had an immense, indestructible hit with 'Aline' in the 60's, but still remained himself and mysterious. The result of his obscure searching? In every respect, his most recent CD 'Aimer ce que nous sommes': a kaleidoscopic soundscape, full of elegant and exciting electro chanson, with assistance from the likes of Isabelle Adjani, Carmen Appice, Eric Truffaz, Emir Deodato... from now on Christophe lives and plays according to his own body-clock. It's mostly at night that his laptop has a lot of work to do.
