Interactive livestream by Efterklang’s frontman
Please Note! There are only 25 (!) tickets available for this ‘intimate’ event.
Casper Clausen (Efterklang/Liima): ‘This is a cordial invitation to an interactive live stream concert exploring synesthesia, remote sensing, myth and sound in the midst of a blossoming apocalypse. Join me ‘first row’ in a premiere perfomance of my recent album ‘Better Way’, directly from Brussels' legendary venue AB via zoom. We'll scan audiovisual borderlands of digital as well as physical performance, poetry & music, and we invite you to participate in the sensorial exploration of virtual space.’
‘April is the cruellest month, breeding. Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing.’ (T.S. Eliot)
‘April’ is a collaboration with Melanie Matthieu & AB.
This event is made possible thanks to Liveurope’s ‘Cross-border mobility programme’.
About Casper Clausen:
Ever restless and brimming with creative energy & enthusiasm, Casper Clausen - frontman of Efterklang and related project Liima – reveals his solo debut ‘Better Way’. On this first solo adventure he once again displays a great deal of invention and musically explorative urges, now unimpeded by formats, genres or collective goals. He presents a kaleidoscopic album. On a journey through unfamiliar territory, somewhere between no-wave and krautrock, Clausen turns finely meshed textures and twists of sound into tales of the two alfas and omegas: Alienation and Love.
