The Black Box Revelation return is hot hot hot, after just a week all tickets for the concert on Thursday 3 November are gone. But fans will be pleased to hear that the duo has deciced to add a second show on Friday 4 November.
2011 could well be a crucial year for our favourite rock ân roll duo from Brussels: Black Box Revelation. Their brand new single âRattle My Heartâ will be released this week, in other words: the forerunner of BBRâs third album âMy Perceptionâ that is to be released in October. Aside from that, the band will also be traveling to the other side of the Atlantic to give a series of concerts and get their ambitious plans for America rolling. No surprises there though, as âMy Perceptionâ was recorded in Hollywood by songwriter, guitar virtuoso and producer Alain Johannes, known from the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Mark Lanegan, Soundgarden, ⊠No coincidence either that these are the favourites of singer/guitarist Jan Paternoster and drummer Dries Van Dijck. So the theme for this summer is LOTS of touring in the US. Totally warmed up, the band will also play in the AB at the end of the year, on Thursday 3 November actually. Be there on time as their previous AB visit was not only a musical bomb but also a rush on ticket sales.
Support acts for the sold out Black Box Revelation concerts in November are now known. There are no longer tickets available for these concerts but there are for the extra concert planned on Tuesday 10 April 2012.
Ganashake is a young Flemish trio that released an untitled debut last year. Their debut was produced by none less than Jean-Marie Aerts. Music mag Oor wrote of it: âSounds like a Lenny Kravitz who suddenly discovered John Lee Hookerâ.
