Angels & Airwaves, the band encompassing Blink 182 singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge, likes to be addressed backstage as AvA. Further on in the line-up we recognize guitarist David Kennedy from Box Car Racer, drummer Atom Willard from The Offspring and bassist Matt Wachter from 30 Seconds To Mars. ‘Love’ is the title of their third studio album, released in February this year. If all goes to plan there should be a successor entitled ‘Love Part II’ or ‘Poet’ released in early 2011 (on Valentine's Day, according to insiders) and together with a film too. The last time the band performed here in Belgium was in 2008 at Polsslag. So it's high time for a new date with AvA and it's to be on Monday 31 January in the AB.

Neon Trees - the rock band hailing from Provo, Utah - this year released debut ‘Habits’ on the Mercury label that they signed to after excellent shows as support to The Killers. Following an American tour with 30 Seconds To Mars, the lady and 3 gents now come to Europe with Angels & Airwaves.

Extra band on the bill will be Twin Atlantic. This band from Glasgow released a mini-LP last year, entitled ‘Vivarium’. They've now established a solid fanbase, thanks to tours with Blink 182, The Gaslight Anthem and My Chemical Romance.
