Our favourite admiral is back! How?! With a new album – ‘The Honey & The Knife’ – that immediately grabbed us by the scruff of the neck with the first listen. Our first impressions? In the first place, ‘The Honey & The Knife’ sounds, above all, live and in-your-face. Straight at you. This number 4 also sounds more diverse than ever, without losing any unity. We hear echoes of doowop, Empire Of The Sun and Nick Cave. Admiral, about the latter: "I rather hear Grinderman, and then definitely their raw approach". True! How's that... enough reasons to sound the praises now already.

We give you just one more too: Our favourite admiral is back! How?! Live! Or rather: in the manner in which we most prefer to see him work! Because, as you know, Admiral Freebee live is always as stunning as it is confounding. You know what to do on Sunday 4 April.
