Mengeling van punk, hardcore, afro, hip hop, electro en rock
2013 is voor Skip The Use een jaar geworden vol hoogtepunten, kleuren en verrassingen.
Met 80.000 verkochte exemplaren van debuutalbum ‘Can Be Late’, een compleet uitverkochte marathontournee en een ‘Victoires de la Musique’-nominatie, die de perfecte bekroning vormde van een gigantisch succes, is de Franse rockgroep opnieuw de studio ingetrokken.
Daar schreven ze het vervolg van hun succesverhaal, zonder vooroordelen of beperkingen, trouw aan zichzelf blijvend en vooral geïnspireerd door een veelvoud van verschillende stijlen en tegenstellingen.
Mat Bastard (zanger, songwriter) en Yan Stefani (gitaar) worden nog steeds in perfecte harmonie omringd door Lio aan de toetsen, Jay op de bass en Max aan de drums. De vijf mannen werken beter samen dan ooit.
De groep uit Rijsel mengt punk, hardcore, afro, hip hop, electro en progressieve rock dat het een lieve lust is. Maar als geen ander slagen ze er in om steeds perfect uitgebalanceerde sets op het podium te brengen, de ene al explosiever dan de andere. Belgische fans kijken dan ook vol ongeduld uit naar de terugkeer van Skip The Use. Aan het wachten komt nu een einde, want onlangs lieten de Fransen weten dat hun nieuwe album ‘Little Armageddon’ verschijnt op 24 februari. En ze breien meteen een nieuwe tour vast aan de release die, tot onze grote vreugde, halt houdt in ons land!
