De Britse band Seefeel was de eerste band op het befaamde elektronica label Warp die – naast alle knoppen annex laptop-adepten - de gitaar bij het baanbrekende label introduceerde. Seefeel is nog steeds gecentreerd rond de kern Mark Clifford en Sarah Peacock, nu aangevuld met Shigeru Ishihara en Iida Kazuhisa, eertijds drummer bij het Japanse Boredoms. De groep zag het levenslicht in ’92 en grossierde in shoegaze/IDM/avontuurlijke indie rock. Hun debuut ‘Quique’ verscheen in ’93, sinds de band werd ingelijfd door Warp – met als resultaat het album ‘Succour’ in ’95 - werd hun sound abstracter en donkerder. Hun zwanenzang en derdeling ‘Ch-Vox’ verscheen via Rephlex, het label van Aphex Twin. De band kwam terug bij elkaar in ’09 naar aanleiding van het twintig jarig bestaan van Warp. Na de indrukwekkende 10 inch ‘Faults’, verschijnt begin volgend jaar hun gelijknamige album ‘Seefeel’. Tot slot Pitchfork over ‘Faults’: “… at times approximates the blocky, ornate musicality of Britain's promising post-dubstep scene: Darkstar, Untold, and Mount Kimbie come to mind.”. Kortom: voor de scherpen van geest.
Support wordt het Brugse Low Vertical. Van dit gezelschap verscheen zonet het debuut 'I Saw A Landscape Once'. Hun recept? Melodische electronicapop met een vette knipoog naar Radiohead. Goddeau hierover: "Een frisse dosis grensverleggende indie-rock en elektronica, een heruitvinding van het experimentele, oftewel een fijne vervlechting van flarden Radiohead, The Postal Service, FM Belfast."
