In 2008 bracht Buraka Som Sistema het nummer ‘Sound of Kuduro’ uit, waarmee ze het muziekgenre uit Angola extra in de verf zetten. Nog geen paar maanden later was daar ook de monsterhit 'Kalemba (Wegue Wegue)' featuring niemand minder dan deze Pongo. Ze belichaamt nu meer dan ooit de vernieuwing binnen de Angolese Kuduro met haar energieke, ritmische popsound en de combinatie van afrobeat en dancehall. Haar laatste album ‘Sakidila’ is daar meer dan het bewijs van.

Last year she released her debut tracks on Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce label. Following this she just dropped Rudeboy Ting, a certified club banger on Club Djembe’s Vol.3. Blck Mamba hereby continues to celebrate afro inspired club music as one of the most exciting sounds. As part of a global wave, Mamba tries to push this vibrant scene through her own music, radio shows, curations and dj-sets.
