Pretentieloze Vlaamse kleinkunstpop
Op een donkere donderdag avond ergens in hartje Antwerpen zitten 4 vrienden rond een pokertafel. De inzet is hoog, de spanning te snijden. Een jonge dame al jarenlang vegetariër vreest voor haar haar. Als ze verliest moet het er allemaal af en moet ze mee naar een BBQ. Kevin moet tien liedjes schrijven over zijn N3rd-trekjes in het Nederlands binnen de twee weken en ze dan opvoeren voor een volle zaal. De inzet is hoog en met één enkele slechte hand keert het tij, Kevin verliest. Het haar blijft hangen, de koeien ongeslacht.
Twee jaar later staan ze op de planken met een platencontract van Hans Kusters op zak en een prachtige plaat in de rekken. IJzersterke teksten en een strakke swingende band zorgen voor een onvergetelijk spektakel.
