“Some bad news I'm afraid. Not able to do the Billie project at Easter. Very complicated situation which I will not bore you with. As you know this project dear to my heart as it is yours and I am so sad about having to cancel.”
16.00u-16.30u: Q&A: JOSÉ JAMES – YESTERDAY I HAD THE BLUES.
16.30u-17.00u: LISTENING SESSION: BILLIE HOLIDAY IN BELGIË.
17.15u-17.45u: Q&A: MARC DIDDEN & HANS HYLKEMA – ‘LOST WEEKEND’
16.00u-16.30u: Q&A: JOSÉ JAMES – YESTERDAY I HAD THE BLUES
16.30u-17.00u: LISTENING SESSION: BILLIE HOLIDAY IN BELGIË.
Billie Holiday toerde tijdens haar leven drie maal doorheen Europa.
17.15u-17.45u: Q&A: MARC DIDDEN & HANS HYLKEMA – ‘LOST WEEKEND’
Billie Holiday gaf tijdens haar eerste Europese tour in ’54 twee concerten in Nederland. De lokale Nederlandse promotor had haar day off echter ingevuld met andere concertverplichtingen.
