Warhaus, câest Maarten Devoldere (la moitiĂ© du duo de chanteurs de Balthazar). Sous ce nom de plume, Devoldere a longtemps fait profil bas. Ă la faveur de rĂ©vĂ©lations parcimonieuses, il a lentement levĂ© le voile sur un univers vaguement aĂ©rien, nourri de spleen et dâun dĂ©sir brĂ»lant.
Au cĆur de tout, il y a lâamour. En septembre, il livrera son premier album : « We fucked a flame into being », câest lâinfluence des sixties françaises, un zeste dâĂ©rotisme, une langueur dĂ©sinvolte... Si Cohen, Cave et Gainsbourg ne sont jamais loin, Warhaus pioche habilement dans cinquante ans dâhistoire musicale.
