Pour fĂȘter ses vingt ans de carriĂšre, le combo nord-irlandais Therapy? a planifiĂ© une volĂ©e d'actions spĂ©ciales dont quelques concerts exclusifs pour lesquels ils rejoueront l'intĂ©gralitĂ© de leur album âTroublegumâ. A cette occasion, vous pourrez donc entendre une sĂ©rie de chansons qui n'ont jamais, ou que trĂšs rarement, Ă©tĂ© interprĂ©tĂ©es en live. L'intitulĂ© â+ moreâ laisse supposer que l'on pourra Ă©galement sâattendre Ă dâautres perles tirĂ©es de la discographie du groupe emmenĂ© par Andy Cairns et Michael McKeegane.
Sorti le 7 fĂ©vrier 1994, âTroublegumâ est le deuxiĂšme album Ă©crit par Therapy? pour le compte de la major A&M Records. Un album plutĂŽt sombre qui lorgnait par moments vers le mĂ©tal et sur lequel figurait aussi une cover du âIsolationâ de Joy Division. Vendu Ă un million d'exemplaires, âTroublegumâ est considĂ©rĂ©, par beaucoup, comme l'apogĂ©e artistique et commerciale de leur carriĂšre.
FondĂ© en 1989, Therapy? se retrouvait, mĂȘme pas deux ans plus tard, avec un premier opus en poche. Mais câest lâalbum 'Nurse' (le prĂ©dĂ©cesseur de âTroublegumâ) qui allait les rĂ©vĂ©ler chez nous et les propulser au sommet grĂące au single 'Nowhere' et Ă leur poignante reprise du 'Diane' de HĂŒsker DĂŒ.
En 2004, Driving Dead Girl franchit un premier cap important en se produisant au festival de Dour. S'ensuit un premier album, â50 000 Dead Girls Can't be wrongâ (Bang!), avec JF Hermand Ă la batterie et AndrĂ© Diaz Ă la basse. En 2008, l'avenir du groupe sâassombrit jusqu'Ă l'arrivĂ©e du batteur Vincenzo Capizzi et du bassiste Daniel Diaz. Suivent alors des premiĂšres parties intĂ©ressantes, dont celles de Black Rebel Motorcycle Club et Lords of Altamont ; des concerts qui viendront conforter l'excellente rĂ©putation live du groupe. En janvier 2010, le quatuor s'est attelĂ© Ă la production dâun second opus, âDon't Give a Damn about Bad Reputationâ. Dix titres influencĂ©s par le cinĂ©ma et la littĂ©rature qui confirment leur Ă©nergie sauvage et parlent de dĂ©boires amoureux engendrĂ©s par lâalcool.
