2013 sera marquĂ© par le vingt-cinquiĂšme anniversaire dâun groupe de Glasgow incontournable, menĂ© de main de maĂźtre par une chanteuse aux cheveux noir-jet et Ă la voix inimitable.
PersonnalitĂ© incontournable du rock international, Sharleen Spiteri est entrĂ©e dans la lĂ©gende de la musique avec son groupe Texas. Depuis lâinoubliable « I Donât Want a Lover » (1989), le premier dâune longue sĂ©rie de tubes, elle nâa cessĂ© de rĂ©inventer son style.
Avec Texas, Sharleen et son complice de toujours, Johnny McElhone, ont jouĂ© sur les scĂšnes du monde entier, vendu plus de 30 millions dâalbums aux quatre coins de la planĂšte et dĂ©crochĂ© de nombreuses rĂ©compenses dont de nombreux disques de platine (« White on Blonde » (1997), « The Hush » (1999) et leur Greatest Hits (2000) ). Aujourdâhui, Texas est fier de revenir dans lâactualitĂ© avec un huitiĂšme album intitulĂ© « The Conversation ». Disponible Ă partir du 20 de ce mois, Sharleen et Johnny ont rĂ©alisĂ© douze titres forts, plus proches des tubes de leurs dĂ©buts, avec notamment des featurings avec Richard Hawley (sur 7 titres) et Bernard Butler (Suede).
Cet album est la fusion parfaite entre des mĂ©lodies pop modernes, riches en Ă©motion, un son classique rock intemporel et cette touche inimitable de rockânâroll 50â apportĂ©e par Hawley.

Dans la foulée, le groupe annonce une tournée dont le lancement est prévu dans leur Glasgow natal et qui passera cet été une premiÚre fois par notre pays, le 31 août au Tempo Festival de Ciney. Texas sera de retour cet automne avec une série de dates dans les plus grandes capitales européennes.
