Une chanteuse israélienne chaleureuse et pacifiste
Le concert de Noa du 3 octobre n'a pas eu lieu à cause de problèmes de voix
de la chanteuse. L'AB espérait pouvoir fixer une nouvelle date au printemps 2013. Finalement pour des raisons logistiques le concert de Noa est à présent définitivement annulé et les tickets seront remboursés :

Née en Israël, Noa entretient également des liens étroits avec le Yémen et New York. Cette femme remarquable et gracile nous revient avec un nouvel album (le septième ?), ‘Classic Noa’, distribué par Rough Trade.
Si Noa - de son vrai nom Achinoam Nini - chante essentiellement en hébreu et en anglais, ses chansons peuvent aussi prendre des accents napolitains ou yéménites. Quoi qu'il en soit, la beauté est toujours au rendez-vous ! Il en va de même pour ses nombreuses collaborations avec de formidables partenaires ou de grands orchestres, comme dans le cas présent. Le show s'intitule, cette fois, Noa with Gil Dor and the Solis String Quartet and special guest Mira Awad + Sarina.
En dehors du chant, Noa maîtrise aussi la guitare, le piano et les percussions. Elle peut aussi toujours compter sur l'apport de son fidèle collaborateur musical Gil Dor, bien que la production de certains de ses albums ait déjà été confiée à Pat Metheny ou Rupert Hine.
Elle a eu l'occasion de partager la scène avec Bobby McFerrin, Esther Ofarim, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Dalares, Santana, Maurane, Sheryl Crow... et même Bill Clinton et le Pape ! Sa version du ‘Ave Maria’ relevait du divin et fit un carton.
Mais vous la connaissez peut-être aussi pour son étonnante prestation à l'Eurovision 2009, en compagnie de la chanteuse palestinienne Mira Awad (dont vous retrouvez ci-dessous un trailer plus « sobre »).
Et plus marquante encore (si c'est possible) fut sa magnifique contribution à la BO du déchirant film à succès 'La Vita è Bella', avec ‘Beautiful That Way’. Magnifique, en effet !
