En octobre paraĂźtra âCity Same Cityâ, le troisiĂšme opus de ce groupe belge hors du commun qu'est Flying Horseman. Ă lire les musiciens, l'album puise sa source dans le dĂ©sert. L'influence africaine â la musique juju nigĂ©riane et le desert blues malien â est indĂ©niable. Mais on y dĂ©cĂšle aussi la singularitĂ© de grands faiseurs comme Fleetwood Mac Ă ses dĂ©buts, Talk Talk vers la fin de sa carriĂšre, Brian Eno, Talking Heads ou Joy Division.
à la production, on retrouve Koen Giesen (An Pierlé, The Bony King Of Nowhere, ...) qui se profile lentement mais sûrement comme l'un des meilleurs producteurs de Belgique.
Le leader de Flying Horseman, Bert Dockx, a de toute Ă©vidence le vent en poupe. Ă peine un an aprĂšs la sortie de âTwistâ et quelques mois aprĂšs âI/IIâ de Dans Dans, son autre formation saluĂ©e par la critique, il revient avec un nouvelle piĂšce maĂźtresse.
