L'iconoclaste Willem: prendre des risques, se faire plaisir
FidĂšle Ă une pĂ©riode de gestation qui tourne autour de deux ans, le temps quâil lui faut pour « porter » ses projets, Christophe Willem annonçait la naissance de « Prismophonic » fin 2011. Et la sortie dâun nouvel album de lâartiste est toujours un Ă©vĂšnement car il nâa cessĂ©, depuis ses dĂ©buts, de brouiller les pistes ! DouĂ© dâun timbre puissant et singulier, il surfe sur tous les genres avec une Ă©gale aisance. Abordant une trajectoire rĂ©solument pop, cet album fait aussi la part belle aux ballades, au funk, Ă lâĂ©lectro, Ă la belle complicitĂ© avec lâauteur, compositeur, interprĂšte Zaho, qui signe la plupart des textes, ⊠et surtout Ă la voix du chanteur, subtilement mise en avant. VĂ©ritable hymne Ă la libertĂ© dâun artiste qui creuse son sillon en assumant pleinement ses choix, « Prismophonic » bĂ©nĂ©ficie dâune production particuliĂšrement soignĂ©e puisque le chanteur a fait appel Ă de grands noms de la crĂ©ation tels que Steve Anderson pour la production et la rĂ©alisation, lâauteur compositeur Karen Poole (qui a notamment collaborĂ© avec Kylie Minogue et Lily Allen), le groupe Freemasons incontournable de la scĂšne Ă©lectro, Jeremy Wheatley, une pointure du mixage et dâanciens complices comme Olivier Schultheis ou Jean-Pierre Pilot.
Iconoclaste dĂ©complexĂ©, Christophe Willem nâobĂ©it quâĂ deux rĂšgles : prendre des risques et se faire plaisir. Un plaisir largement partagĂ© par le public !
