Une pop indé néerlandophone aux ambitions internationales
Bazart fait des Ă©tincelles avec une pop en nĂ©erlandais crĂ©dible qui tranche rĂ©solument avec la variĂ©tĂ©, la Nederpop, le rock flamand et lâensemble de leurs dĂ©rivĂ©s.Â
Bazart est tout sauf un groupe lambda sâexprimant en nĂ©erlandais.
Ce combo de cinq musiciens (dont trois frontmen !) qui puise ses racines Ă Gand et Ă Anvers se dĂ©marque par ses puissantes harmonies vocales, ses mĂ©lodies complexes et ses nuances Ă©lectro.Â
Ils nous servent, dans leur langue maternelle, une pop indé sombre dont les influences musicales vont de The National à Yeasayer mais aussi de Spinvis à Gorki.
Les singles « Tunnels » et « Goud » ont dĂ©jĂ Ă©tĂ© largement diffusĂ©s en radio.Â
Bazart est composé de Mathieu Terryn, Oliver Symons, Simon Nuytten, Tom Goovaerts & Robbe Vekeman.
Dernier fait d'armes du groupe : les trois premiÚres parties couronnées de succÚs qu'il a assurées à la Lotto Arena d'Anvers, au Paradiso d'Amsterdam et au Doornroosje de Nijmegen pour Oscar & The Wolf, LA révélation belge par excellence. à son palmarÚs, on notera également des prestations dans le cadre du Boomtown, à l'AFF, au Charlatan, au Depot et au Vooruit.
