Un collectif de hip-hop de Minneapolis en tournée européenne

C'est avec fiertĂ© que lâAB prĂ©sente Rhymesayers. Car depuis dĂ©jĂ un bon moment, des pointures du hip-hop comme Atmosphere et Brother Ali ont rĂ©ussi Ă capter toute votre attention. Pour la premiĂšre fois, le label envoie un Ă©chantillon de ses meilleurs artistes en Europe. Ainsi, en plus des cĂ©lĂšbres Atmosphere et Brother Ali, vous pourrez aussi dĂ©couvrir Blueprint, Evidence et Grieves & Budo.
Atmosphere est LE projet de hip-hop indĂ©pendant qui a non seulement fait connaĂźtre la scĂšne de Minneapolis, mais qui a aussi donnĂ© un bon coup de pouce au label Rhymesayers. Leur nouveau chef dâĆuvre est paru cette annĂ©e sous le titre « The Family Sign ». Brother Ali est connu pour son flow engagĂ© et ses textes militants, que lâon retrouve entre autres sur les albums « Us » et « The Undisputed Truth ». Evidence est cĂ©lĂšbre pour son groupe Dilated Peoples. Il a Ă©galement collaborĂ© avec Kanye West et Aloe Blacc, et sortira le 26 septembre son premier album solo, « Cats & Dogs », signĂ© chez Rhymesayers. Blueprint est un MC et un producteur qui nous vient tout droit de lâOhio et qui a formĂ© Soul Position avec RJD2. Durant la tournĂ©e, il prĂ©sentera des titres de « Adventures in Counter-Culture ». Grieves & Budo sont les nouvelles recrues du label et savent sĂ©duire tant les publics hip-hop que rock, comme en tĂ©moignent leurs concerts lors du Vans Warped Tour 2011.
Ce concert sâinscrit dans le cadre du projet « Minneapolis, Mon Amour » mis en place par lâAB pour la saison 2011-2012. Au cours de cette sĂ©rie de concerts autour du patrimoine musical de la mĂ©tropole amĂ©ricaine, sera cĂ©lĂ©brĂ© le 30e anniversaire du premier album du groupe de rock amĂ©ricain The Replacements, « Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash ». Une date clĂ© de lâhistoire de la musique qui sert de prĂ©texte Ă lâAB pour prĂ©senter, entre autres, des concerts de Soul Asylum et de Grant Hart, le collectif Rhymesayers ainsi quâune expo sur le label Twin/Tone.
