A CERTAIN RATIO
'James LCD Murphy was inspired to start (his label) DFA after reading an article in a UK paper about the resurgence of minimal disco like ESG and A Certain Ratioâ. (Urb Magazine)
Uncut a dâailleurs dit :âNo group can claim a greater role in postpunkâs mutation into funkâ.
Si lâon en croit XLR8ER, câest 'a disciple of Dilla, an avant-hip-hop instrumentalist, a leftfield beatmaker'. A cela, Hudson rĂ©pond : âI like to be un-pin-downable. Iâll be pretty gutted if âWonkyâ ends up sticking. Iâd rather liked if it was called âPolyfolkâ.â Nous avons rĂ©ussi Ă Ă©veiller votre curiositĂ© ?
Pour clore, nous reprendrons les mots de Spin : âBLK JKS fuse the electro-funk experimentalism of TV on the Radio with the Afro-pop guitars of Vampire Weekend and drop in hints of jazz, ethnic African music, and the prog-rock of contemporary acts like The Mars Volta.â
RUSTIE
: âHow I feel about being âWonkyâ: "Wanky!â.
