65days rejoue lâintĂ©grale son premier opus vieux de 10 ans
Les 65days â aussi appelĂ©s 65dos ou 65 â ont de quoi cĂ©lĂ©brer. Leur premier opus, âThe Fall of Mathâ, fĂȘtera ses 10 ans en 2014. Pour l'occasion, le quatuor de Sheffield dĂ©sire rejouer son chef-dâĆuvre dans son intĂ©gralitĂ© dans un nombre limitĂ© de villes. Bruxelles en fait heureusement partie, cĂŽtoyant ainsi Berlin, Utrecht et Paris. Et câest bien lĂ©gitime car en 2006, le groupe figurait dĂ©jĂ pour la premiĂšre fois au programme de l'AB, aux cĂŽtĂ©s de Mogwai et de Wolf Eyes qui Ă©voluent tous deux dans la mĂȘme veine.
En 2007, ils avaient remis ça en compagnie des New-Yorkais de Liars et en 2010, ils sâĂ©taient retrouvĂ©s en haut d'une belle l'affiche oĂč trĂŽnait aussi Fuck Buttons.
Le programme de ce soir ? En premiĂšre partie de soirĂ©e, 65days rejouera l'intĂ©gralitĂ© de son premier opus avant d'aller puiser dans son dĂ©sormais vaste catalogue. Attendez-vous Ă©galement, en hors dâĆuvre et en dessert, Ă quelques extras dont le contenu vous sera annoncĂ© ultĂ©rieurement.
Pour les amateurs en quĂȘte de rĂ©fĂ©rences - en dehors de lâunivers singulier de 65days -, le blog musical Drowned in Sound sâest chargĂ© de les rassembler pour vous : Kraftwerk, Boards Of Canada, Explosions In The Sky, Aphex Twin et Mogwai. Et il livre mĂȘme une description encore plus d'Ă -propos avec: âMogwai-rivalling post-rock stargazing augmented by clicks and bleeps straight out of Squarepusher's laptop.â
La premiÚre partie sera assurée par le groupe Thought Forms originaire de Bristol. On les dit à la croisée de Earth et My Bloody Valentine et ils sont hébergés par le label Invada géré par leur concitoyen et membre de Portishead Geoff Barrow. Leur dernier album en date est un split-EP réalisé avec Esben and the Witch.
