Tycho releases a fifth studio album this year. No longer on the familiar label Ghostly International but rather, for the first time, on Mom + Pop / Ninja Tune (Courtney Barnett, FIDLAR, FKJ, Parquet Courts, Tash Sultana,...). The band encompassing producer Scott Hansen will incorporate vocals in their music for the first time, without losing the typical electronic vintage synthesizer & ambient sound to their work, of course. The previous Tycho album, 'Epoch', resulted in a Grammy nomination for the band (in the category Best Dance / Electronic Album)… we’re curious to see if the successor will do just as well!
