Trombonist/pianist Malcolm Jiyane impresses on his debut 'Umaldi', meaning 'the creator', as - dixit All About Jazz - 'a highly personal voice and an irresistible style'. The Guardian immediately lauded the album with a five star review and catapulted it to global album of the month.
