Dear AB visitor,
Since 11 March, we’ve been forced to keep the doors of AB closed in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Of course, this is very painful for us and we miss you terribly. Though we would love to be able to tell you that we will be able to welcome you back soon, the reality is otherwise. The National Security Council has decided to prohibit mass events in Belgium until after 31 August. We fully support this decision. However, it does mean that our festivals, Boterhammen in het Park and Feeërieën - scheduled from 24 to 28 August - will not take place this year.
Your health and safety is our first priority. For this reason, the doors of the AB remain closed as long as the safety measures are in place. It’s hard, but stopping the virus is a priority and, at AB, we only want to enable you to enjoy concerts if you can do so in a safe and responsible manner. Once we are up and running again, we promise that we’ll come back better than ever and provide you with the best musical experiences, just as before.
We would like to address all the organisers, suppliers, artists, bookers and other companies and other music industry people who are suffering terribly from the economic impact of the coronavirus. We sympathise with the thousands of people - not forgetting our own colleagues - who are affected, directly or indirectly, by these measures. We are in this together and we will only get through it together. We hope to see you soon.
AB loves you!
