The support-act! Often ignored by die-hard fans of the main act, often heard by the true music-lover. I’ll just check with my colleagues if they usually check out the support-act too. “Yes, of course. Even if it’s only to hear a few songs. Sometimes there are real discoveries to be made”, says one. “Sometimes a support-act is more than just a support-act and they really attract quite an audience.” says another.
We agree. A support-act can add an unexpected new dimension to your evening, or make your musical heart beat faster. Our programmers tip you off to a few gems that you really shouldn’t miss:
Indie pop duo from London that let you swing along to their music. Maybe you know them from their debut single "All yours".
APRE will play as support act for Half Alive on Saturday the 9th of November.
A night of punk all the way from Bruges. In 1980 they reach the final of Humo's Rock Rally and play "I can't live in a living room" for the first time.
Red Zebra plays as support act for The Psychedelic Furs on Friday on October 25.

Hard, harder, hardest. Belgian metal band Wolvennest will make it a very special evening by inviting three bands from their "Nest".
They play on Saturday 29th of February as the support act for Wolvennest.
The Ruins of Beverast
They form a German extreme metal project founded in 2003 by Alexander von Meilenwald. He has already released five albums under that name through Ván Records.
Dread Sovereign
is the stillborn brain principle of Nemtheanga from Primordial. Years of string hacking and slashing on his guitar have led to this project. He is supported by Johnny King (Malthusian, Altar or Plagues, Conan) on drums and Bones (Zom, Wizards or Firetop Mountain) on guitar.
Saturnalia Temple
In their own words: “A dark Swedish forest at night, while out of the body. Crushingly Hard Electric Blues...doom...occult...dark...ritual...stoner....magic.”
