It turns out your favourite artist is now coming to AB, but unfortunately your student budget is limited, and being frugal with the beer?
NO WAY!
Just like every year, Stuvo EhB gives you a bit of financial support by handing out, culture cheques valued at 10 euro. With this cheque, you will be able to come check out your favourite artist in AB this school year after all.
Unsure? Here a few highlights from our calendar:
Whitney 19.11
Just moved from AB Ballroom to Main Hall.
“Pop music was invented for bands like Whitney” is what we wrote on the AB website in 2016. Debut album “Light Upon the Lake” had just been released at the time and the reviews were unanimous.
You can come see them for only €13 not €23
The producer with the name that refers to an iconic ‘90s sitcom is easily mentioned in the same breath as that other sitcom artist: Ross from Friends. Just like Ross, Seinfeld performs wonderful lo-fi house with a healthy dose of nostalgia.
In AB club for only €3 (yes, really, only 3 euros) not €13
Milky Chance still delivers very beguiling, laid-back, catchy reggae-pop with electro-influences. You surely remember the sweet, sluggish sound of that mega-hit 'Stolen Dance'. But there’s also this year’s great output: 'The Game' and 'Daydreaming' are again convincing, swoon-cocktail craftsmanship from core duo Philipp Dausch and Clemens Rehbein.
€20 not €30
The Boss of Brussels Rapen a regular here at AB. It is clear that his forthright raps and imposing, compelling live shows make an impression. Bearing a golden album and a backpack full of rave reviews, the man from Brussels now returns to his home town, where he will again show the AB ‘what the fuck is up’
For only €15 not €25
You can get the cheque via Erasmus Hogeschool Brussel
