On May 9, Atlas, our colleague concert venue from Kyiv, will curate a diverse Ukrainian programme in the AB Club as part of our yearly Europe Day celebrations. In parallel to the event, we are launching a fundraising campaign for Music Saves UA, the UAME (Ukrainian Association of Music Events) initiative that offers humanitarian help to people in the conflict zone.
The Ukraine situation is currently still critical. For the sum of €10 you can help provide humanitarian food boxes and thus support the affected families.
Such a food box contains things like 1 kg rice, 1 kg pasta, 1 kg sugar, sunflower oil, tea bags and more.
What is Music Saves UA?
Music Saves UA is an initiative of UAME - Ukrainian Association of Music Events to help people in need during the war in Ukraine. UAME is the largest organisation of music industry representatives in Ukraine. They also aim to increase awareness about the war and promote Ukraine music and culture.
The initiative was established in 2022. Since then, they have collected more than 335,000 dollars in donations, delivered more than 625 tonnes of humanitarian aid, helped more than 42,000 people and evacuated more than 20,000 people from hotbeds and frontline towns and cities.
