Sonart is a free one-day experience on October 26 that brings people together by showcasing art and music. Like a sonar, this Youth l’AB event aims to reveal new interesting artists and emit good vibe signals. Make friends at our open decks and open stage session, where you can enjoy live painting, photo expositions and more before our three headliners take the stage.
What is Youth l’AB?
Youth l’AB is a group of 10 youngsters passionate about events and music. Once a year, Youthlabbers organize their own event to conclude a year-long journey with AB where they learn the ins and outs of the music industry. This year’s event, Sonart, will mark the third edition of this AB initiative.
Activities
Youth l’AB has prepared a set of activities during the day such as an exhibition, live painting, open stages and open decks, as well as a meeting space for musicians. One thing is for sure: as you wander the AB Club on October 26, you will find something to resonate with!
Line-up
- Fay Bby
Homegrown in Brussels, Fay Bby’s hypnotizing melodies make you feel like floating away on a cloud of Alt pop and RnB. Classically trained since age 5, the Hungarian Belgian singer started discovering her voice during her early adolescence. After self-releasing her first 4 singles in 2022, Fay continues to drop enchanting tracks such as Hide and seek and Daydream resulting from new collaborations in 2023.
- Bobbi Lu
Bobbi Lu is an electro-pop gem straight from the homeland of Thom Yorke, FKA Twigs and James Blake. The young artist channels her rebellious spirit into her music by creating a sensitive ambiance based on ethereal piano melodies that transport the listener into a dystopian world filled with crunchy basses and haunting samples. Releasing her debut album in October, Youth l’AB is proud to have Bobbi Lu as a headliner for Sonart.
- Azertyklavierwerke
Azertyklavierwerke is the solo project of the Antwerp Conservatory graduate Alan Van Rompuy. Now residing in Brussels, Alan’s music can best be described as an intense combination of electronic sounds coming together to create chaos with direction. Intertwining ambient music with jazz piano-inspired pieces these tracks will form the perfect closing of Sonart.
