In 2022, Voetvolk – the contemporary dance company of choreographer Lisbeth Gruwez and musician/composer Maarten Van Cauwenberghe – landed in AB for the first time.

And what a performance it was! Quite an entry, that big bang for the première of Into The Open – an explosive show in response to the far too lengthy silence/standstill during the pandemic. Into The Open channelled that collective release.

On January 19 it was time for an honourable conclusion at AB with a true dernière in the venue where it all began.
