If you have 36 free minutes one of the coming days, then be sure to listen to the album ‘Born Sandy Devotional’ by The Triffids. As a tribute to frontman David McComb who passed away unexpectedly in ’99, the remaining members of the band are coming over to favourite country Belgium to perform this masterpiece again in its entirety, on stage in AB. You can expect a full evening programme with, amongst other things, an Artist Talk and a screening dedicated to ‘Born Sandy Devotional’ from the series ‘Great Australian Albums’ (that also shed light upon classics by Nick Cave, Crowded house and The Saints).

Until the end of this month, you can also head to AB Resto for an expo on the artwork of this masterpiece. Feel free to come take a look if you’re near AB Café/Resto (Steenstraat 23). AB Resto will be
accessible on Sunday 23 October, but it will not be opened for reservations.
