New single ‘All This Dancin’ Around’ was released a few weeks ago and is slowly finding its way into the upper regions of De Afrekening on Studio Brussel. A fine forerunner for the new album of the same name that is in stores as of 15 November. Recorded in the Sound City Studios in Los Angeles (yup, where Butch Vig also entrusted Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ to analogue recording equipment), it was co-produced by Greg Gordon (Oasis, Wolfmother, Slayer).
A new album is now a good reason to do a new ABsession. To be seen as of this week on ABtv. By the way, Triggerfinger and ABtv is also a match made in heaven, as their February 2009 concert is still one of the most viewed recordings on ABtv.
We are also able to hereby announce who will provide the support act on 3, 4 and 5 December in the AB: POLTROCK PIANO EXPLOSION! At the request of Triggerfinger, David Poltrock will do something strange with a piano as opener for their shows. Let yourself be amazed!
The band has also been well-received by our northern neighbours. On 22 & 23 December they will play to a sold-out Paradiso in Amsterdam. To put that in perspective: Only dEUS and Zita Swoon have done that before.
Getting thirsty from all that admiration for Triggerfinger? Not a problem, as during their three-day residency in AB you can purchase your pints with especially designed Trigger-tokens. Exclusively available during the concerts.
By the way, the concerts in AB on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 December have been entirely sold-out for some time now. Those who want a ticket for the third and last concert on Sunday 5 December will have to be quick to get themselves to this concert page or call 02/548 24 24.
Much news from the Triggerfinger front
