To get to know our artists even better, we serve them a few simple but not unimportant questionsâŠ
What do you do in daily life?Â
For much of the day I run my record label Glitterbeat, but I also try to always try to do something related to my musical projects. And whenever I can I walk. Across cities. In the mountains. Walking makes things clearer.

Karen Dalton, Ali Farka Toure, Alice Coltrane, Suicide, Townes Van Zandt, Kate Bush, Burial, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Brian Eno.

The Cascade Mountains, north of Seattle.
What are your musical ambitions?Â
To create sounds and words that surprise me.
What is your favourite instrument?Â
Cello.
Do you come to AB and Brussels often?Â
Almost every time Iâve come to Brussels I have visited the AB. And rarely a year goes by that I donât come to Brussels. I have come to the BRDCST festival three times. Love it.
What are you expecting from your show at AB?Â
I have good memories from that room, but mostly I stay away from expectations. Each night is different. One of the joys of touring is the opportunity for reinvention.
Are there special requests on your rider?
One glass of whiskey. Right before I go on.Â
What is the best concert you ever saw?Â
Iggy Pop. 1981 in Seattle. The band was Ivan Kral (Patti Smith), Brain James (The Dammed), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols)
What is the next concert you will go to yourself?Â
Tonight. Yin Yin in Ljubljana.
What is your favourite food?Â
Thai food. Extra hot.
What impact did corona have on your creativity?Â
It gave me a chance to sit still and think. It gave me the chance to find my album âWhere the Spirit Rest.â
Do you have anything important you would like to mention?Â
War is living hell.Â
