With the exception of the Belgian TaxiWars or Chicago-resident artists such as Angel Bat Dawid and Ethnic Heritage Ensemble, the common theme of this autumn’s entire jazz programme is the contemporary London jazz scene.

There’s a simple reason behind this. This is a vibrant, exciting and innovative jazz scene. Moreover, their sound contains the DNA of the London dance scene, and in it you will hear the heartbeats of urban music, R&B and jungle.
