The Main Hall of AB will be filled by international greats like Cypress Hill (21/06) and Mac Miller (04/05), as well as the (in AB) already legendary Tricky (11/04).
The club will then resound with the sounds of promising beats by Glints (Support Warhola, 06/04) and that fluid flow of promising British BBC Sound of 2016 candidate Loyle Carner (17/04).
Freddie Gibbs (AB Main Hall, 31/05) grew out of the label ‘promising’ with “some real gangsta rap”, just like American star G-Eazy (AB Main Hall, 18/05). He also brings iLoveMakonnen along on his tour, known for the monster hit ‘Tuesday’ featuring Drake.
Last but not least, we also have a whole heap of Dutch-language hip-hop planned, including the likes of a West-Flemish double-bill with Ertebrekers and Brihang (AB Club, 23/04). There’s good stuff coming out of The Netherlands too: Rico&Sticks #opgezwolletotnu (27/05) was the best act at Lowlands last year. They also bring along their previous pupil, Typhoon, who will again play a modest match of Belgium–Holland with Jef Neve (AB Club, 15/04).
Basically, a month full of beats, raps and a bouncing AB!
